First baby photo - kind of

The first candid picture of Julianna and Keith with baby Kieran has surfaced. Kieran is hidden under the blankets in his stroller but both mum and dad look happy. Julianna looks great!

Sorry this is late, I’ve been super busy offline with work. Thanks to the people that emailed me about it :)

Also, the Writer’s Strike is over! :D Hopefully this means that Canterbury’s Law will have no more premiere date changes.

Julianna Married

Julianna got married last weekend, November 10 in Lenox, Massachusetts. :D After receiving a ‘rumour’ date that she would marry on November 18, we now know this was to avoid the razzi and keep it a private occasion.

Julianna wore a white gown by her long time favourite designer, Narciso Rodriguez, and her partner wore a black Armani suit.

“It was all traditional. It was very touching. She was radiant. It was beautiful,” her father, Paul Margulies, who walked her down the aisle, tells PEOPLE. “We’re thrilled for her, and the young man she married is a wonderful person. We’re proud to have him as a part of our family.”

Margulies and her new husband had no time for a honeymoon, her father says. They flew back to California, where Julianna is working on her new TV series, “Canterbury’s Law.

i”They’re both very busy,” her father says.

On behalf of the site and fans, we send our congratulations and wish Julianna and her husband a very happy life together. :D

Julianna’s Wedding Date?

An article has been posted at About. Com saying that Julianna is ‘planning to take the plunge and get married in Massachusetts on November 18, 2007.’

Remember to keep in mind that this is just gossip for now but as soon as I find out if it is true I will let you know. It would be sweet if it is, a baby wedding.

Women Over 40 earning Second Look

Variety. Com reports that women over 40 in the acting business are now being noticed more, Julianna being one of them. She says:

“It’s about time. I am so sick of every script I get for a film, it’s the girlfriend of … the wife of … it’s always the shadow,” Margulies says. “Women aren’t seen for their full potential in film the way they are in television. I’m thrilled that women are taking over in television in a beautiful way. Not to take away from men. I love them, but it should be equal, and I think it finally is happening.”

That’s our girl!

Images & Quote

Speaking backstage from the recent NY Fashion Week, Julianna said of the freebies from one of her long time favourite Designers, Narciso Rodriguez:

“He sent a bunch of things over, and I was sure nothing would fit, considering my new size,” Margulies said. “But the first dress I tried on, this black empire-cut number [from his fall collection] fit perfectly, so I’m thrilled. He really understands women’s bodies, and how to dress us.”

I found a couple more shots from this event and have added two new candid sets, as well.

Canterbury’s Law Tibits

There have been a few pieces posted about Canterbury’s Law which are interesting:

Startribune.Com: “Canterbury’s Law”: Julianna Margulies plays a lawyer who drinks too much, lies too much, cheats too much and swears too much. Yeah, it’s that desperate. (Fox) **

Buffalonews.Com: “Canterbury’s Law,” 9 p.m. Thursday, midseason: Julianna Margulies (“ER”) is a defense lawyer.

You’ll Like It If: You’ll enjoy seeing Margulies play a tough character who screams to get what she wants and declares: “Any lawyer that dodges a sound bite ought to be disbarred.”

You’ll Hate It If: Your idea of an innovative legal series isn’t watching a woman go into the men’s room seeking information from a guy.

Indystar.Com: (Fox) is a surprisingly tough, intense drama. Julianna Margulies stars as a defense attorney who will let nothing (including the truth) get in her way.

Parade.Com: Most Likley to Succeed Also promising is Fox’s Canterbury’s Law (midseason, Thursdays), with Julianna Margulies as a defense attorney who will do virtually anything to win.

In all, I’m looking forward to this show. I like legal dramas and this sounds like it may be good.
